The other day we went scouting for a cool location for another one of my friends, Steven, to do a shoot. We were down in Port Stanley, and wanted neat beach shots, but without all the cliche the sand and beach have to offer. We were just driving around looking for a cool location, when we found this cliff that had a trail leading down it that goes right onto the water. Pretty neat little place, I’ll definitely use it for more shoots. I used a bare flash to illuminate Steven to get a really nice overall exposure (thanks to Nancy for being my human light stand!) The shoot went well, equipment malfunctioned occasionally, I almost fell in the lake with the camera, Steven almost slipped and fell in the lake, and unfortunately, our nice warm, sunny, blue sky day turned into a nice warm overcast day. I am, however, very happy with the results. Shot with Canon 50D, 24-70mm f2.8 lens.
